Hi All,
First of all, here's another link that deals with censorship,
wherein a P2P network is described that protects against it:
http://freenet.sourceforge.net/papers/freenet-ieee.pdf
Of course, two points can be made: first, how can the american
government on the one hand be so full of free speech and on the
other hand strive to ban an enabling technique for free speech such
as P2P. On the other hand comes the question whether such a network,
although created with high ideals, will not be abused by 'pirates'
to the extent that it becomes unusable for the intended purpose.
Another thing, we now have an experimental RSS feed of this list:
http://mailman.sonologic.nl/rss/issuedrinks.xml
Let me know if it works to satisfaction..
Finally, let me propose a date for the next issuedrinks:
Thursday September 29, 18.00-ish
As most of us have too busy a schedule to do this every 2 weeks, i
kept to the monthly schedule. If we feel the need/have time for an
intermediate issuedrinks, we can just schedule one.
Gr,
Koen

Hi All,
My first post to the list ;)
Three things, first below you'll find the message Erik sent to a select
group of those subscribed to this list earlier today.
Second, for those not familiar with it here is a link to the onion
router network and the TOR system that allows anonymous surfing of
the web.
Finally, Erik suggested to do the issuedrinks every two weeks instead
of monthly. Now I think this might be a good idea, but i also think it is
maybe a bit too much for those of us that have a very busy schedule, so
let me know your thoughts about this!
