Hello newsletter subscribers,
It’s been a month already since the first newsletter. I’m working hard on my first book, an anthology of five novelette’s (“long short stories”), three of which have been written.
The first, a techno-thriller, is ready for the final edits by a professional line editor. The second, a murder mystery in space, is currently being read by my group of beta readers and up for critique at my writers community. It will receive some rework before it will be sent off to my line editor. And last, but not least, I’m currently revising the first draft of the third story, set in a post-apocalyptic world.
The book, title as of yet unknown, is planned for release in february 2022. This is a bit later than originally planned, but recently I’ve detailed all the work involved and create a project plan and it turns out that time is needed to make the book as good as I want it to be.

Meanwhile, I’m already planning and plotting my next book, a novel due to come out by the end of 2022 (which seems a long way away, but believe me, it’s there before we know it). I’ve found a bit of software, Fantasia Archive, that’s a great help with keeping all the details organised. It’s free and open source, and I’ve written a review about it on my website:

Speaking of the web site, I’ve given that a bit of an update. Most notably, I’ve added some more sci-fi related images in the site header (which I got from pixabay.com, great resource for free-to-use images), and experimented a bit with css transitions to make them fade into one another. There’s now a separate landing page, and a new category for blog posts: Author Software. It’s not done yet (will it ever be?) and I want to work a bit on the About page next.
